We are delighted to officially unveil an all-new door display for the Broadway's entrance, that will remain in place for the foreseeable future as another go-to place to learn about everything there is to know about the project!
To celebrate the door display's launch we set up a temporary heritage exhibit on Main Street, and wheeled out one of our donated JBL speakers from ODEON Ayr! Iconic movie soundtracks echoed across Main Street and passers-by got a lovely inside look at some never-before-displayed heritage collection items and the first read through our new display!
The display features an introduction to the project, recent project news, a section on our upcoming events, and the extensive Our History timeline from our website! The timeline takes you on a journey from building the Broadway with Alister MacDonald in 1935 all the way through the golden age of cinema, bingo, squash, and dereliction to the future with Friends of the Broadway Prestwick, with exclusive details of our vision for the years to come.
With the door display remaining in place, our project news and upcoming events sections will be regularly updated, with our doors becoming a living billboard for the latest Broadway developments!
