We're delighted to share that a podcast has been founded all about the Broadway and our project, titled 'How to (Re)open a Cinema'! Your hosts are Cliff Baillie, our Executive Advisor of Cinema Operations, and Kyle Macfarlane, our Project Development Officer. The Broadway is one of the greatest surviving examples of a golden age Art Deco cinema in Scotland, and Friends of the Broadway Prestwick were founded to bring the Category C-listed building back to life for future generations. This podcast will share our story as it happens, and recap the project up to this point, with side stories from all eras of the Broadway's history!
We will be covering all the challenges our project faces in bringing the Broadway back, with guest appearances planned for our fellow directors, volunteers, members, and supporters within the world of heritage and the cinema industry. You can also interact with the podcast by getting in touch on our website and asking questions that our hosts can answer! We would also greatly appreciate your feedback!
