The History of the Broadway Presentation (Prestwick History Group)
Updated: Aug 12
Yesterday evening, Thursday 6th October, our director Kyle Macfarlane hosted a presentation in collaboration with Prestwick History Group, titled The History of the Broadway.

The presentation was held at Prestwick Community Centre and covered all eras of the Broadway's history, from the grand opening in 1935 to the present day with Friends of the Broadway Prestwick. There was also a static history exhibit set up featuring many of the artefacts, documents and cinema memorabilia from our official heritage events. The main presentation lasted one hour, with a break for tea and coffee to follow and a Q&A session to conclude the evening. We would like to thank Alasdair Cochrane and Alasdair Malcolm from Prestwick History Group for organising the event and each and every one of our community members who came along to learn about the Broadway's history. We hope to host more events like this in the near future!
