Heriot-Watt University Dubai Soul of the Broadway Event
Updated: Aug 12
A final thank you and congratulations to all of the students from Heriot-Watt University Dubai Campus for their incredible presentation Soul of the Broadway!
It has been a honour to participate in such a wonderfully unique collaborative project and we are immensely proud of every student in Dubai and in Edinburgh too, for the passion and enthusiasm they have shown for the Broadway's future!
We are incredibly grateful for their hard work and support, and blown away by the amazing work each team produced. We can't wait to show their visions in detail for you, and hope to host a Community Open Day soon in the Broadway itself, with the students' work from Dubai and also from Edinburgh on show, with hopefully many of the Edinburgh students attending in person.
A very special thank you too goes out to Professor Harpreet Seth who helped arrange this incredible opportunity and did a wonderful job inspiring her students for the project and co-ordinating with her very own Professor Guy Walker! Also an extra thank you goes out to Kelvin MacDonald, we were delighted to invite Kelvin to the Soul of the Broadway presentation to virtually present the Alister G. MacDonald Certificate to all of the students in Dubai who participated in the project, as a fitting tribute to his father, our cherished architect.
It has been a privilege to collaborate with the incredible prestigious organisation that is Heriot-Watt University. To inspire hundreds of young people and see dozens of visions for the Broadway future was an incredible opportunity and one we will always cherish. We very much look forward to inviting you all back to the Broadway one day soon to share the students' visions with yourself, as we all take another step closer to making those visions a reality.
Thank you!
