Christmas Events and Open Days Recap 2024

To celebrate the festive season in 2024 we opened our doors to the community and also hosted two very special Christmas film screenings at Prestwick Academy!

Our first screening of Polar Express in Pyjamas as part of Prestwick's annual Prestmas celebrations saw our highest recorded attendance figure ever for pop-up cinema with 165 tickets sold! We then returned to the Academy the weekend before Christmas with our new tradition of an annual screening of It's a Wonderful Life, with the Christmas spirit levels off the charts for both events.

Our open days were also wonderful occasions with the foyer beautifully decorated for the holidays and more 35mm magic projected onto our small screen. Thanks again go to Eden Garden Centre for donating our tree, our incredible volunteers for supporting each event, and, of course, everyone who attended so close to Christmas!
