About this Screening

Little Shop of Horrors is a wonderfully unique adaption of the rock musical of the same name, based on the book by Howard Ashman. This horror comedy classic from 1986 still holds a special place in the hearts of many and is loved by generations of filmgoers!

In the hopes of turning around the fortunes of his failing floral business, a nerdy florist purchases an unusual plant from a street vendor. The catch? This plants feasts only on human flesh! Perfectly creepy and delightfully hilarious. One of a kind and not to be missed on the Roadshow screen!

The Broadway Halloween Film Festival is the first of many special themed events to compliment our regular Roadshow programme! Our temporary home at Prestwick Academy is bringing the latest cinema releases, all-time classics, and the true magic of film back to South Ayrshire! All proceeds go towards the Broadway's restoration and bringing cinema back to our communities for the foreseeable future. General admission tickets are priced at £7, with an exclusive 25% discount available to all official Broadway members, and the chance to add a donation to the cost of your purchase.

Our ever-changing and expanding concessions menu offers a variety of sweets, popcorn and ice cream at affordable prices for all. The Academy's 300+ seated capacity auditorium, paired with state-of-the-art projection equipment and The Broadway Stereophonic Sound System (and quintessential Broadway showmanship), brings an authentic and professional cinema experience back to Prestwick for the first time in almost half a century. The venue is also fully accessible, with accessible seating able to reserve at no extra cost.

Please note that for The Broadway Halloween Film Festival strict ID checks for age-restricted films will be in operation. Little Shop of Horrors is rated PG, therefore all are able to attend, with parental guidance advised for younger audiences. For additional information please refer to our Admissions Policy.

We also highly encourage costume-wearing and dressing up for the occasion!

With the help of our new partners Indy Cinema Group, and with your incredible support, the greatest Halloween films of all-time are back on the big screen!

Let's get spooky and keep making history together!
